AQA A-Level Physics Paper 3 Engineering Physics Questions
Practise the AQA Paper 3 Engineering Physics option through its rotational dynamics, thermodynamics and heat-engine question packs.
Engineering Physics Option
Rotation, thermal processes and engines.
Track energy and the direction of work
- In a rotational question, identify the axis first: the same force has a different turning effect at a different perpendicular distance from that axis.
- On a pressure–volume diagram, the area under a process curve represents work done by the gas; for a complete cycle, use the area enclosed by the loop. State your sign convention when applying the first law.
